Freight lines, chargeable weight and the border
MambaBuy's public freight estimator (mambabuy.com/freight_estimation) covers roughly 199 destination countries, with one to seven lines offered per country depending on weight and item type. The table below is a snapshot, not a live feed; always re-run the estimator before paying.
Lines marked tax and duty included on the estimator, several UK and German options among them, fold customs into the quoted price; lines without that label leave duty to be settled by the recipient on arrival, under whatever threshold the destination country applies.
Chargeable weight
Two numbers get compared and the bigger one wins: what the parcel weighs on the scale, and a volumetric figure worked out from its box dimensions (centimetre length by width by height) divided by a carrier-set factor, usually somewhere in the 5000-to-8000 range. A bulky but light parcel, say several padded jackets boxed together, can end up billed well above its scale weight once that division happens.
Route restrictions that bite when you consolidate
Not every line accepts every category of goods. Some of MambaBuy's own line notes restrict certain routes to perfume shipments specifically, while others exclude batteries, powders, liquids or food outright regardless of declared value. If a parcel mixes fragrance with ordinary apparel, check the chosen line's restrictions before submitting, since a mismatch can delay the whole consolidated parcel, not just the restricted item.
Customs and the EU duty waiver
On tax-free routes, MambaBuy assists with unified declaration and clearance; on other routes, duty is the recipient's responsibility. A per-category duty of €3 on EU parcels, introduced 1 July 2026, was reported temporarily waived on consolidated EU parcels as of a 14 July 2026 announcement; treat any duty figure as subject to change and check MambaBuy's current notices before assuming either way.
Tracking and signature
Once a parcel ships, it can be tracked under Parcel in the MambaBuy member centre through to delivery and signature. This site does not operate any tracking system of its own.
A worked example: two jackets to the United Kingdom
Two of the earth-tone jackets on the Earth & olive rail together weigh roughly 2.4 kilograms packed. On the cheapest UK line quoted on 21 October (RM01, tax and duty included, CN¥95 per kilogram), chargeable weight rounds up to 2.5 kg, putting shipping at CN¥237.50 with no separate customs bill to expect on delivery, since that line already folds duty into the quoted price. The same two jackets sent on a non-tax-included DHL line to a country without a waiver in effect would carry an additional, separately billed duty assessed by that country's customs authority on arrival, a figure MambaBuy's estimator does not predict.
This is the practical reason to read the tax-and-duty label on each line before choosing it, rather than simply picking whichever number looks lowest on the estimator screen; a cheaper quoted shipping price on a non-inclusive line can still end up costing more once a customs bill arrives separately.
