Earth & olive rail
Tan, olive, stone and brown, the family most changed by warehouse lighting of any on the site.
Earth tones move the most between a listing photo and the item in your hand, because olive, khaki and taupe all sit in the part of the colour wheel where a camera's white balance makes the biggest guess. Indoors under warm bulbs, olive reads brown; outdoors or under cool LED strips, the same jacket reads closer to moss green. Sellers rarely correct for this, and the warehouse photo is taken wherever the inspector happens to be standing.
The safest habit on this rail is to ask for the QC photo in two settings when the order is large enough to matter: one indoors, one near a door or window. If the two frames disagree, trust the outdoor one. Worn and washed pieces, caps especially, also fade unevenly between the crown and the brim, so a single overall shot can hide a two-tone item that a close-up of the brim would have caught.

Colour names worth checking twice on this rail
| Printed on the rack | Sold in English as | What tends to go wrong |
|---|---|---|
| 卡其 | Khaki | Runs lighter and more yellow than the muted khaki common in Western catalogues; check the fabric tag, not just the thumbnail. |
| 原色 / 本色 | Raw / Undyed | Means the fabric's natural, undyed tone, not a specific shade; expect variation between batches. |
| 藕色 | Mauve-taupe | A dusty pink-brown that photographs as plain grey under cool light; request a warm-light frame too. |
If a colour on this rail matters enough to be a dealbreaker, ask for the QC photo twice before you approve the order, once indoors and once near natural light.
