Monochrome rail
Black, white and the greys between, where warehouse lighting does the most damage to a buyer's expectations.
Monochrome is the easiest family to photograph accurately and the easiest to misjudge anyway, because warehouse ceiling tubes flatten the difference between a true black and a washed, slightly faded one. A seller photo taken under those lights will show both as the same black; the QC photo, taken on the same warehouse floor, usually will too. The only reliable fix is to ask for one extra frame near a window or under the warehouse's white LED aisle lighting rather than the overhead tube bank, and to compare it against a plain white background rather than the seller's styled set.
Off-white and ivory pieces carry the opposite problem: they show handling marks, creasing and faint discolouration far more visibly than any other shade, so a close QC photo of the hem, cuff and underarm is worth asking for before you pay the international line on something you cannot return once it leaves the warehouse.

Colour names worth checking twice on this rail
| Printed on the rack | Sold in English as | What tends to go wrong |
|---|---|---|
| 黑色 | Black | Covers both true black and a slightly faded "run-black" wash; ask which one if the listing does not say. |
| 本白 / 米白 | Off-white / Ivory | Shows creasing and marks badly; request a close hem and cuff photo. |
| 水泥灰 | Concrete Grey | Sits between light grey and charcoal; always request it next to a second grey if you are choosing between two. |
None of these three is a mistake on the seller's part; they are names for dye lots that genuinely sit close together. The fix is always the same extra question: one more photo, in different light.
